October 2nd, 2007 - Quick release update. This rolls in fixes to this security problem, as well as the MySQL 5.x syntax changes mentioned below.
If you need the XSS fix alone, download this file and extract it over your current installation.
January 16th, 2006 - Only 2 and a bit years since the last update, a new version is in the works now. In the meantime, you can now download a fix for MySQL 5.x installations which do not work with the DVDdb 0.6 release.
Due to changes in the join syntax for SQL 2003 compliance, 3 sections of the DVDdb do not work. Download the 3 fixed versions here and simply drop them over the existing files to resolve the issue.
September 29th, 2003 - DVDdb 0.6 has now been released. This represents a major upgrade from previous versions. Some major new features include:
- Layout themes
- Configurable result columns
- Multiple media types - no longer DVD specific
- Multiple genre support
- Increased comment length
- Additional data fields available
- Improved search functionality

When I first wrote this code, it was for my personal use, and I only released it because I figured a few people might find it useful. Now it seems quite a lot of people use it, and several people have asked how they can contribute to say thanks.
